A quotation I love!

Have you ever been so completely moved by a literary quotation that you can think about nothing else all day? I thought I’d share one of my favourite quotations with you. It’s from George Eliot’s Middlemarch, which I admit I haven’t read since university:
“If we had a keen vision and feeling of all ordinary human life, it would be like hearing the grass grow and the squirrel’s heart beat, and we should die of that roar which lies on the other side of silence.”
