Centauri’s "Leaders-in-Training (LIT)" Program 2012

Centauri Arts Camp - Leaders in training3-part leadership certification, ages 15-18
One component of the Leadership Program is offered in each session, campers who complete all 3 components of the leadership program receive their Centauri LIT Certification. Workshops take place in the afternoon elective period, so campers still choose an arts major. Sessions are lively and informal and LITs also take on leadership duties such as planning a campfire or themed meal. Participation in the LIT program brings with it expectations that campers will be leaders within the community, and in return LITs take part in special activities such as Night Walks. All LITs must complete 'Inspiration Challenges' and other leadership tasks in order to receive certification. There is no additional charge for campers wishing to take the leadership program, but participation is by invitation only. All LITs receive a training manual and written evaluation.
