Health Care Assistant
This 8-week live-in position would ideally suit a student nurse with a love of summer camp! The candidate will spend half their time assisting our camp nurse in the health centre (dispensing meds, health training, dealing with routine illness) and the other half of their time on camp counsellor duties: covering for counsellors on their days off, supporting campers, eating meals with them, living alongside our campers. Camp Counsellor (Arts or Sports)
We are looking for one additional dorm counsellor to live in with a group of 8 teenage girls and run activities for them throughout our 8 week season this summer. Duties include eating meals with your group, supporting them throughout their camp experience, running one hour of dorm activities per day, being on hand during their free time, leading them in recreational camp activities and assisting arts professionals in their specialist programs. In addition, counsellors teach 10-12 of their own sports or arts workshops throughout the summer. This is a live-in position and would suit a university or college student returning to school in the Fall. We offer training, living expenses, a contract fee for the summer, and a ton of experience!
