Centauri Summer Arts Camp is a residential summer camp that offers all the traditional magic of overnight camp... but with a focus on the arts! Located in the Niagara Region, within easy driving distance of Toronto and close to the US border, we welcome boys and girls aged 8-18 for a summer of arts activities, creative inspiration, personal growth and summer fun.
Our Staff
The Staff at Centauri arts camp includes a faculty of highly trained arts instructors and a team of responsible, fun-loving counsellors.
Counsellors form the backbone of our community and are chosen for their ability to inspire,
lead, guide and motivate their campers, and almost all of them return to
us year after year. Our staff are exceptional role models, completing an
extensive training program with us each summer, and include a nurse who
lives on site, trained chefs and a senior staff with decades of experience
working with youth.
Our Camp Community
Centauri is more than just arts training. We're a sleep-over camp with
all the excitement and magic that implies... from campfires to cultural
banquets, stargazing to spirit suppers, festivals to free time shared together.
Campers at Centauri immerse themselves in an exciting, vibrant community of like-minded
people. Ours is a safe and nurturing environment where community spirit
is emphasised, friendship valued and personal growth celebrated.
Our Arts Camp Programs
At Centauri, you can choose from 40 different arts programs, all taught
by experienced and enthusiastic instructors.
Want to discover your inner writer? Then try camps which focus on Playwriting,
Poetry or Fiction. Want to hone your skills as an actor? We have Film Acting,
Theatre Camps, Musical Theatre, Improvisation, Stage Combat camps and more.
Is Visual Art your thing? Our camps include Painting, Digital Photography,
Comic Creation, Sculpture, Animation and Design. Hope to learn about Film-Making,
Singing, Songwriting, Music or Dance? We have camps for all those, too!
Immerse yourself in the arts camp of your choice and create films, readings,
performances and exhibitions to share with your audience on the final day.
