Arts Camp Programs
Welcome to Centauri Summer Arts Camp, where the traditional camp experience combines with specialist arts programming to offer a summer experience like no other.
Created as a special place where creative kids 'rule', Centauri has grown from its original four programs fifteen years ago, to forty different specialist arts programs, all taught by talented teachers and arts professionals. We're based in the Niagara Region, in a residential camp setting that includes arts facilities such as theatres, art studios, a darkroom, a computer lab, rehearsal rooms, and more. Campers choose one arts specialist each session. They spend four hours each day on their chosen activity, leaving plenty of time to sample others. If you love the arts, there will be something for you here! Discover how to make great movies, or excel in comic book creation. Unlock the secrets of stage combat, or specialise in improvisation for actors. Immerse yourself in acting,
dancing AND singing, in one of our Musical Theatre programs. Learn to act, and mount a show, in one of almost a dozen theatre choices. Join our writers under the spreading boughs of our Poet-Tree, or our artists, down by the river. Choose from several dance forms, sing Acapella, or bring along an instrument, and make music with us. This is just a sample of the many programs awaiting you at Centauri Summer Arts Camp, this summer.
