The Fine Art Classes and Visual Art Workshops offered at Centauri provide an opportunity to develop technique and explore creativity in a residential setting. In the Fine Art classes explore painting (acrylics, watercolour, oils), charcoal, pencil and pastels, as well as clay, plaster, wire and soap carving.

If you enjoy art class in school, why not consider sleep-over art camp this summer? Art classes throughout the school year are rarely more than an hour or two in length - just imagine what you could learn, and how much you could create, making art for up to five hours a day!
Fine Art classes at sleep-over camps offer another exciting opportunity too - the chance to live and have fun alongside campers who share your interests, from across Canada and all over the world. Centauri Summer Arts Camp offers a wide choice of specialised art programs every summer for ages 8-18. Young artists can choose to explore Comic Creation, Painting, Sculpture, Sketching, Classical Art, Stop Motion Animation, Art & Design, Photography and more! There are programs geared towards beginner and experienced artists, special art classes for younger children such as `Myth, Magic & Monsters`` and everyone participates in an art exhibition on the final day. In addition to art classes, campers also choose from electives in dance, theatre, music, singing, film, creative writing, crafts and sports - all taught by experienced teachers and arts professionals. Centauri is a community for young people who love the arts, but it’s also a sleep-over camp - with an exciting range of camp activities to enjoy.
Centauri Summer Arts Camp is located in the Niagara Region of Ontario, within 1 hour of Oakville or Burlington. Our residential art classes and photography workshops are available for young actors aged 9-18. Take art workshops and photography classes each day and work towards an exciting final presentation. Our fine art classes are located at a residential summer camp, allowing young artists an exciting camp experience.
