For years our campers have said to us every summer: why can’t you run something like this year round? We’ve always longed for the day when that might be possible… and finally, that day has come!
Starting this September, Centauri Arts Academy will be opening a brand new Arts Studio in Bloor West Village, in West Toronto, a 5 minute walk from Jane subway station. We began our year-round courses in a limited way last year, with more than 40 campers attended classes at a rental venue – but now we’re thrilled to finally have a space of our own! We’re running courses in Creative Writing, Theatre, Clown and Film Production starting 23 September… and several courses are already half full, just through word of mouth! Campers are attending our classes from across Toronto, and also from Scarborough, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Burlington, Brampton and Richmond Hill.
We’re delighted to be able to offer our campers an arts community space not only in the summer, but now the entire year through.
