We’re Offering a New Collaborative Program at Camp Next Summer!

“The People Project” will run in session 2, and is an exciting collaboration between our dance, theatre and creative writing departments, at the end of which a full length show will be staged. Campers will explore human interaction, emotion and conflict, using the medium of their choice. Writers will create stories, monologues and scenes, focusing on tension, plot and character. Actors will look at how different theatre styles can be used to explore concepts, and lear how to convincingly run the gamut of human emotion as a performer. Dancers will explore different forms, spaces and music, looking at how people interact. All campers will touch on positives such as friendship, joy and peace as well as conflicting emotions: envy, hatred and self loathing. “The People Project” is a demanding arts experiment, open to all campers aged 12-18. The result? A stunning full length performance involving more than 40 campers, sure to captivate and entertain our audience on the final day. “The People Project” is attracting a lot of interest. To be sure of a spot, be sure to contact us on the all-important Registration day: Sunday 16th November.
