Centauri Summer Arts Camp is a sleep-over summer camp that offers all the traditional magic of overnight camp... but with a focus on the arts! Located in the Niagara Region, we welcome boys and girls aged 9-18, bringing together an exceptional faculty of arts professionals to offer top quality summer arts programs. At Centauri Arts Camp, you choose what you’d like to do! Want to write a novel? Then try our writing camp! Or hone your acting skills? Then try our theatre, acting camps and film camps. Want to learn to be a better artist or photographer? Try our fine art camps. Love writing music, dancing or singing? Our music and musical theatre camps may be for you.
Centauri Arts Camp is not just about top-notch arts training: we’re a sleep-over camp, too - with all the excitement and magic that implies... from campfires to cultural banquets, festivals to spirit suppers. A family environment and nurturing staff are essential to everything we do. Cared for by dedicated counsellors and talented teachers, young people grow as creative artists, making memories that last forever.
Centauri Arts Camp offers 40 specialty summer arts camp programs, including Theatre, Stage Combat, Acting Skills, Shakespeare, Television, Film-making, Musical Theatre, Photography, Digital Arts and Design, Creative Writing, Music, Dance (Lyrical, Ballet, Hip Hop). In addition to their chosen specialty, campers choose daily electives in each discipline, sports and crafts.
For complete beginners as well as experienced young artists, Centauri is the perfect place to develop creative skills. Centauri Summer Arts Camp is a safe and nurturing environment where community is emphasized, friendship valued and personal growth celebrated. Staff are chosen, not only for their exceptional arts skills, but for their ability to be outstanding role models for young people.
